Dr. Sam Crandall, Phoenix College’s Learning Commons Manager, was recently selected as President-Elect for the Arizona Association for Developmental Education (AADE).

At PC, Dr. Crandall manages academic support programs at the Learning Commons (LC) including tutoring, writing assistance, study consults, conversation circles, classroom presentations, and workshops.  As the LC Manager, Dr. Crandall cultivates a culture of teamwork, flexibility, innovation, and continual improvement.  

AADE is a state chapter of the National Organization for Student Success (formally known as NADE), dedicated to help learners, at all levels of preparedness, realize their full academic potential.    As President-Elect, Dr. Crandall aims to support AADE’s development as a community of practice, in which Arizona educators actively strive towards achieving AADE’s goals of professional development, networking opportunities, research, and scholarship & grants.
